Job Description(max.10 tasks)      

• Product requirements (requirement engineering, mainly SW) according market and customer requests for AFC/FC applications

1. Collaborate with R&D in defining new features and CIP requirements; both software and hardware
2. Support of R&D (internal & external) during project phase (clarification of requirements, specifications, design reviews, etc.)
3. Participation in the development of new or the extension of existing hardware and software modules according to current or future customer requirements (analysis, modelling, calculation, measurement, qualification)
4. Carry out internal acceptance test of new features and CIP developed by R&D. Beta tests of new machines, modules and SW releases
5. Module responsibility (SW and HW) of specified modules (including driving continuous improvements) that modules fulfill market and customer expectations
6. Support of market introduction (exhibitions, demos, evaluations, buy offs, etc.)
7. Conducts feasibility studies and sample bonding
8. Collects process / production / competitor data at customer site
9. Build-up technical know-how on product / problem solving via structured knowledge transfer between the Product Line, the R&D team and the different regional support centers
10. Conducts training on existing and future AFC/FC platforms to FSE’s and customers
11. Coordinates and provides technical solutions / problems solving on customer issues in collaboration with CPM and Field Service Engineer in Asia (2nd level support)

Requirements             Education

Bachelor/Master of Science

Work experience

• Knowledge of the semiconductor backend industry
• Broad experience in engineering (min. 5 years)
• Experience on DA processes and applications
• Project Management experience
• Requirement engineering experience

Expertise and methodology

• Good logical thought, good grasp
• Analytical approach
• Complex mechanical systems (robotics)
